The e-student visa caters to individuals pursuing education in India, while the e-student-x visa is designed for dependents of e-student visa holders.
Students can apply for these visas through indianvisaonline.gov.in, with their applications verified using the SII (Study in India) ID.
The SII portal streamlines the admission process for international students, offering access to both long-term and short-term courses in India.
Possessing a unique SII ID is mandatory for all applicants, as it allows them to track college applications, apply for visas or e-visas, and manage other processes related to higher education in India.
