It’s Smoggy out there; Schools in Delhi and Gurugram go hybrid

As air pollution continues to increase, the Commission for Air Quality Management (CAQM) in the National Capital Region (NCR) and the adjacent regions has ordered all educational institutions, including colleges and schools, in Delhi and the neighboring areas to use a hybrid form of instruction. This decision was made in light of Delhi’s Air Quality Index (AQI) rapidly declining from 300 on Monday to 392 on Tuesday morning, which is perilously near to the “severe” category.

In its ruling, the Commission stated that students and parents would have the choice to use online learning whenever it is practical.

It requires the state governments of Gautam Buddh Nagar, Delhi, Gurugram, Faridabad, and Ghaziabad to adopt hybrid learning right away.
