Winter break will begin gradually on December 10 for all government and approved private educational institutions in the Kashmir division and Jammu’s winter zones, according to a Friday announcement from the School Education Department (SED).
According to an order from the Principal Secretary of SED, courses up to the fifth grade would start their holidays on December 10 and classes from the sixth to the twelfth grade would start their vacations on December 16.
The decree said that “classes 6 through 12 will observe winter vacations from December 16, 2024, to February 28, 2025, while classes up to 5th standard will observe vacation from December 10, 2024, to February 28, 2025.”
