The Paper 1 examination for BE and BTech in the initial session of the Joint Entrance Examination Main (JEE Main) is scheduled to commence on January 27. According to the official calendar, the JEE Main Paper 1 exam will take place on January 27, 29, 30, 31, and February 1.
JEE Main 2024 will feature multiple-choice questions (MCQs) and numerical questions. The BE and BTech paper of JEE Main 2024 will consist of three sections—mathematics, physics, and chemistry, comprising a total of 90 questions.
As students prepare for the final revision on the last day, here are some tips from previous years’ high achievers: Given that the exam is just a few days away, align your sleep schedule with your exam time. If your JEE Main is in the morning slot, avoid late-night studies and ensure you get ample sleep. Being well-rested on the exam day is crucial for performing at your best.
Reflecting on my initial attempt in JEE Advanced, I made the mistake of reviewing all the notes for all subjects in the last two days, until the late hours of the night before the exam. This led to mental fatigue, making it challenging to recall formulas and think through questions effectively. Therefore, resist the urge to succumb to anxiety and take some time to relax. Focus on reviewing essential points marked during the revision phase.
Keep in mind that maintaining composure is crucial on the exam day, even if you have extensively practiced beforehand.
Approach the paper with an open mind; this is what the NTA aims to assess.
