To maintain academic excellence, Jeppiaar University in regular intervention conducts review meetings with Governing Council Body, Executive Committee and Board of Studies which helps the University to achieve  reach great heights in various UG Programs, PG Programs and Ph.D programmes offered in School for Engineering and Technology, School of Arts, Humanities and Management, School of Science and Allied Health Science.

Jeppiaar University specific initiatives in ensuring academic success of students are listed below: 

• Implementation of ERP Camu software  – Access to study materials, question bank, lecture notes 
• Semester topper  appreciation certificate  
• CPD QUOTA –  For students from Coastal area, Coastal People Development quota is offered which ensures education reaches to disadvantage sections in society. 
• MATTRAM FOUNDATION – Scholarship given to students representing economically weaker section. 
• 100% SCHOLARSHIP FEE – Scholarship given to students from economically disadvantage group. 
• JEPPIAAR SPORTS ACADEMY – Scholarship given to students representing sports for University.

2. Research and Innovation:

To encourage research, Incubation Grant of Rs.1 Crore was announced under “Jeppiaar Research and Development Organisation” (JRDO) in Jeppiaar Educational Trust for students, faculty, start-ups, small scale industries (SSI)

Jeppiaar University participated in Young Indian YI Innovation competition held across India,  in  round II, Jeppiaar University was among top 15 Universities in India in Innovation.

Jeppiaar University strives to achieve excellence in Education in Higher Education by focusing on research, results etc. Jeppiaar University is planning to launch programs in Medicine, Law and Nursing in future.

Jeppiaar University envision itself in contributing to education sector in following ways 

• By 2030, eliminating gender disparities in education and ensure equal access to all sections of people in society.

Dr. Regeena J. Murli is a leading educationalist, industrialist and philanthropist, and as a Chairman & Managing Director, she leads and governs Jeppiaar Group of Institutions which comprises of Jeppiaar Engineering College, Jeppiaar SRR Engineering College, Jeppiaar CBSE School and Jeppiaar Matriculation School. Under her leadership, Jeppiaar Group of Institutions has remarkably changed and is becoming a leader in academic excellence in Technical and Management Education. 

She, along with His Excellency, Suhail Mohammed Al Zarooni, of the Royal family of Dubai UAE, became a part of the Global Child Prodigy Award 2018, who identified and recognized Prodigal Children across the world and awarded. His Excellency, impressed by her philanthropic work towards the students, has agreed to train and develop skilled students of sports under his sponsorship. 

• She received EduIcons Award for Best Sports Promotion & Encouragement from Honourable Governor of Tamilnadu, Mr. Banwarilal Purohit. 
• She received MGR Ratna Award in the Field of Education during the MGR Centenary Celebration held at Kandy, Srilanka from Shri Karu Jayasuriya, 
• Speaker of the Parliament of Srilanka and Thiru. K A Sengottaiyan, Education Minister of Tamilnadu. 
•  During the 7th Kerala State Business Convention Awards 2018, she received Business Women of the Year Award from Padma Bhushan Dr. A Sivathanu Pillai (ISRO & DRDO Scientist) & Shri. K V Thomas (Member of Parliament). 
•  She received Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Award for Excellence in the Field of Education, from President of India. 
• She was awarded Best Educationalist Award during 100th Year Celebration of Dr.MGR. 
• His Excellency, Suhail Mohammed Al Zarooni, of the Royal family of Dubai UAE, recognized her works in the Field of Education & Sports and awarded Award of Excellence.
