The Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) 2025 application process kicks off on today i.e. January 17, with the online portal for the Karnataka Undergraduate Common Entrance Test (UGCET) 2026 opening at cetonline.karnataka.gov.in.
Candidates applying for KCET 2026 should prepare these essential documents in advance: SSLC or Class 10 marksheet, Aadhaar card, the student’s mobile number (with WhatsApp access) and email ID, plus scanned copies of their photograph and signature in the required formats.
Application fees vary by category: ₹500 for general category students, ₹250 for SC/ST candidates, ₹750 for those from outside Karnataka, and ₹5,000 for international applicants.
KCET 2026 exams are scheduled for April 23 and 24. Physics and chemistry papers will take place on April 23, while mathematics and biology sessions follow on April 24. Each paper lasts 1 hour and 20 minutes, split into two daily shifts: morning (10:30 am to 11:50 am) and afternoon (2:30 pm to 3:50 pm).
