Schools up to Class 8 in Gautam Buddh Nagar, including Noida, will stay shut on Friday and Saturday amid thick fog and biting cold, as announced by the district administration today.
Basic Education Officer Rahul Panwar issued the directive following the district magistrate’s instructions to prioritize student safety amid harsh weather.
The order specifies that all Nursery to Class 8 institutions affiliated with CBSE, ICSE, IB, UP Board, or other boards in the district must observe closure on January 16 and 17, with strict enforcement required.
