Chandrayaan-3 Live Updates:
The countdown for India’s moon exploration mission— Chandrayaan-3 has entered the final hour. The filling of the liquid oxygen in the cryogenic engine which will fire the rocket in the third and final stage has been completed. The filling of liquid hydrogen in the cryogenic engine is also under completion.
The propellant filling for the liquid second stage of the LVM 3 rocket was completed earlier. The liquid second stage will fire after the initial burst of power from the two solid booster engines fired at the time off blast off at 14:35:17 hours from the Satish Dhawan Space Centre in Sriharikota, Andhra Pradesh.
This will position the country as the fourth nation to successfully land a spacecraft on the moon, showcasing its prowess in executing secure and soft lunar surface landings.
