Amid soaring temperatures and an intense heatwave sweeping across Maharashtra, the Directorate of Primary Education has directed all schools in the state to operate exclusively in the morning shift. This decision, applicable to schools of all management types and mediums of instruction, aims to protect students from extreme weather conditions.
As per the directive, primary schools will run from 7:00 AM to 11:15 AM, while secondary schools will function from 7:00 AM to 11:45 AM.
