Mumbai’s autonomous colleges, affiliated with Mumbai University, are gearing up to launch the fourth year of undergraduate programs under the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 in the coming months, but they anticipate mostly vacant classrooms. Internal surveys from multiple institutions reveal that just 5 to 10 percent of third-year students plan to enroll in this extra year, according to insights gathered.
