The National Testing Agency (NTA) will henceforth only concentrate on administering entrance exams for admission to higher education institutions, marking a dramatic change in its function.

The agency will no longer be in charge of recruiting exams as a result of this modification.

Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan announced test changes on Tuesday, saying that “accountability” will be resolved and that “error-free exams” are the goal.

He said that the administration is thinking of switching to tech-driven entrance examinations and computer-adaptive testing in the near future.

New positions are being created since the agency will undergo a restructuring next year. The process of reorganizing the NTA has begun with the appointment of new officials and the creation of new positions. According to the minister, this will infuse the organization with new vitality.
