In light of the proper response to the contentious physics question, the National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the updated National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Undergraduate (NEET UG) 2024 results. This year, the cut-off for the general category candidates in the re-revised result is now 720-162, down from 720-164 in the June 4 result. Seventeen kids share the top spot in all of India. Their percentile score is 99.9992714.
The range of the NEET UG cut-off is 161-127 for candidates belonging to scheduled castes, scheduled tribes, and other backward classes. In a same vein, the NEET UG 2024 cut off for applicants who are SC, ST, and OBC-PH is 143-127.
The NEET cut-off is 40th for applicants who identify as OBC, SC, or ST, and 50th for MBBS and BDS candidates in the General category. The maximum scores obtained in the all-India common merit list for NEET UG 2024 are used by the NTA to calculate the NEET UG percentile.
