Following allegations of a paper leak during the initial May 3 examination, the National Testing Agency (NTA) re-conducted the test on June 21 for more than 20 lakh candidates. The provisional answer keys were issued on June 25, with the objection window closing on June 28. While students are currently anxious due to the pending release of the OMR response sheets, an update on the final scores is finally on the horizon.

According to reporting by news agency ANI, the NEET UG re-exam results are expected to be declared by July 20. Although the NTA typically takes about 45 days to process and release results based on historical trends, the agency has stated it is trying to fast-track the timeline this year. Once live, candidates can access their scores on the official website at neet.nta.nic.in.

Urgent: Action Required for NEET UG 2026 Fee Refund

In a critical parallel update, the NTA has raised concerns regarding pending fee refunds. So far, only 8,29,510 candidates have successfully updated or corrected their bank account information on the official portal. This means a large number of eligible students risk losing their money if they fail to act immediately.

  • Deadline to Update Bank Details: July 7, 2026, up to 11:50 PM.
  • Action Required: Eligible candidates must log in to neet.nta.nic.in immediately to submit their correct bank information before the window closes.
