During the 18th FICCI Higher Education Summit, BVR Subrahmanyam, the CEO of Niti Aayog, revealed on Wednesday that India’s objective is to attract 500,000 international students by 2047. As part of NITI Aayog’s vision document for 2047, education plays a distinct role, with a key emphasis on India becoming a leading global education provider. Subrahmanyam emphasized the need for colleges to embrace artificial intelligence fully, as technology is expected to significantly impact the higher education market. He highlighted the importance of enhancing quality, brand value, and global rankings to achieve the goal of attracting a substantial number of foreign students to India.
