Starting tomorrow, January 18, due to cold weather conditions, schools in Noida and Greater Noida will initiate classes for nursery to 8 at 10 am. The decision, announced by Gautam Buddh Nagar Basic Education Officer Rahul Panwar, will be in effect until further instructions from the district administration. This directive is in compliance with the District Magistrate’s guidance, considering the dense fog and severe cold. Panwar emphasized strict adherence to the order.
It’s worth noting that classes for nursery to 8 were suspended until January 16 due to the prevailing cold weather. Meanwhile, for students in Classes 9 to 12, school hours were adjusted to 10 am to 3 pm last week, in accordance with a separate order from District Inspector of Schools Dharmveer Singh. This schedule adjustment will persist until January 20, as per the issued order.
