Following the National Testing Agency’s decision to remove the grace marks granted to 1,563 students, the number of top rankers in the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test-Undergraduate (NEET-UG) would drop to 61 from 67, according to authorities on Thursday.
Six out of the 1,563 applicants who took the medical entrance exam from a Haryana center shared first place with 61 other students.
The Center informed the Supreme Court on Thursday that it has revoked the grace marks granted to 1,563 applicants who sat the test in order to be admitted to MBBS and other similar programs, amidst a furious dispute over the NEET-UG 2024.
