Haryana school holiday is declared for Primary classes i.e. up to class 5. The state government on Tuesday announced school holiday till January 27 due to cold wave. On January 23, the minimum temperature recorded in Haryana was 2.8 degrees celsius. Owing to the bone-chilling weather, government has declared holiday for all Government, Private, and Government-recognized schools.
DC Gurugram shared the official notice on X and stated, “Important Announcement: Cold Wave School Closure. In view of the ongoing intense cold wave, the Department has made the decision to temporarily close schools for students of classes 1st to 5th until 27.01.2024. This applies to all Government, Private, and Government-recognized schools.”
