The Rajasthan Cabinet has approved the Rajasthan Coaching Centers (Control and Regulation) Bill-2025 to regulate coaching institutes across the state and create a secure, supportive learning environment for students, officials announced on Saturday.

The Bill, drafted in line with central government guidelines and tailored to Rajasthan’s specific needs after consultations with stakeholders, mandates the registration of all coaching institutes.

Following the Cabinet meeting, Deputy Chief Minister Premchand Bairwa stated that coaching centres with 50 or more students would come under legal scrutiny. To enhance transparency in their management, a state-level portal will be introduced, along with a 24×7 helpline for student counselling. Additionally, the Rajasthan Coaching Institutes (Control and Regulation) Authority will be established to oversee implementation, said Parliamentary Affairs Minister Jogaram Patel.
