Rajasthan Government to provide free education to EWS quota students in Private schools till Class 12

Rajasthan Government has announced that it would be funding students in the EWS quota in private schools till Class 12. As per reports, Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has stated that students enrolled in the 25 percent EWS quota in Private Schools would receive free education till Class 12th.
These EWS quota students would be provided free education upto Class 12 under the Right to Education Act. Apart from this, the state government has also announced free coaching for 30,000 students.

Under the Anuprati Coaching Scheme, the state government would help around 30,000 students by giving them free coaching classes in order to prepare for entrance exams such as NEET, JEE Main, JEE Advanced and more.

Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot also announced that a transit hotel is being constructed for the students who will be preparing for their competitive exams in Delhi.

Apart from providing free education to EWS quota students, the state government has also announced a scholarship for research scholars under which they would be given a total of Rs 20,000 per month.

The Rajasthan Government also shared that around 30,000 scooters have been distributed to meritorious female students.
The Chief Minister also shared that a budget of Rs 50 crores has been allocated for the development of various facilities and departments at Rajasthan university. Furthermore, under the Rajiv Gandhi scholarship for academic excellence, the state government has added a provision that will provide free education abroad for 500 students in the state.
