All schools including private and government run schools in the Metro district of Kamrup (Assam) to remain closed from Sept 24-27 due to heatwave and rising temperatures.
This decision has been taken by the authorities to safeguard the students from the ill-effects of exposure of excessive heat, ensuring the health and well-being of the students.
Also, in other parts of Assam the school timing have been altered to adjust with the rising temperatures.
