Established long before “sports medicine” and “wellness” became popular in India, this college was training physiotherapists to treat musculoskeletal disorders, neurological conditions, cardiac rehabilitation, and occupational injuries. Located on the 70-acre SDM Medical College campus, students have direct access to the 1,250-bed hospital, seeing patients with diverse pathologies. Many SDM physiotherapy graduates work with sports teams, corporate wellness programs, and international sports organizations.
