SEA Law celebrated its Valedictory Ceremony for the 3-Year LLB and 5-Year BA LLB courses, marking the successful academic completion of 85 graduating students.
The ceremony featured distinguished guests including Smt. K. Poornima Srinivasa, Ex-MLA and CEO, SEA Group of Institutions; Dr. Prof. Gayathri N M, CMR University, School of Legal Studies, Bengaluru; and Smt. Thriveni T.C, Principal, SEA Law. The guests congratulated and appreciated the students for their dedication and hard work, and wished them success in their future legal careers.

The ceremony continued with the Principal, Smt. Thriveni, sharing a few words with her proud graduates: “Today we have conducted the graduation day for the 3-year and 5-year B.A. LL.B. courses. It is a matter of happiness to share that 85 students have graduated from our SEA Law College. I congratulate all our students and wish them a bright future as advocates, rising in their field of advocacy.”
Dr. Prof. Gayathri N M, who attended the ceremony as one of the esteemed guests delivered a powerful speech. She stated, “Law is not merely a profession; it carries with it a profound sense of responsibility that extends beyond titles and designations. Today, the field of law has evolved far beyond traditional boundaries of criminal and civil litigation, opening pathways into diverse and dynamic domains.
It is essential for aspiring legal professionals to identify their true calling within this vast landscape. Whether through public service, government positions, policy-making, or emerging legal specializations, the opportunities are far greater than conventional perceptions suggest.
An LLB degree is not limited in scope, it is a gateway to influence, reform, and contribute meaningfully to society. One must strive to go beyond established expectations and fully realize the potential that the discipline of law offers.”
The ceremony concluded on a celebratory note with a group photograph taken to commemorate the occasion.
Following the valedictory ceremony, graduates were interviewed. Monisha A.R., a 3-year LLB graduate, shared her thoughts on behalf of her batch: “Today, 80+ of us have been awarded our LLB degrees. I do not know how many among us will go on to practice law in courts, but I sincerely hope that each one of us will practice what we have learned, in whichever path we choose.
Because the essence of legal education is not confined to courtrooms. It is about standing for what is right, upholding justice, thinking critically, and acting with integrity. Whether we become advocates, entrepreneurs, corporate leaders, academicians, or public servants, the values we have gained here should guide our decisions and shape our contributions to society. An LLB degree is not merely a qualification; it is a responsibility. Let us carry it with pride and purpose.”
