BENGALURU — It was a momentous day at the SEA College of Law as the institution celebrated its Graduation Day for the 3-Year LLB and 5-Year BA LLB courses. The ceremony marked the successful academic completion of 85 graduating students, who are now poised to enter the professional world.
The event was graced by Professor Gayatri from CMR College, who attended as the chief guest. Representatives from the college administration expressed immense pride in the graduating batch, congratulating the students on their hard work and wishing them a bright future as they step into the legal profession and advocacy.
“A Qualification and a Responsibility”
The highlight of the ceremony was a powerful valedictory address by Monisha AR, a graduating student from the 3-Year LLB program. Speaking on behalf of her peers, Monisha emphasized that the true essence of a legal education extends far beyond the physical boundaries of a courtroom.
“Today, 80+ of us have been awarded our LLB degrees. I do not know how many among us will go on to practice law in courts, but I sincerely hope that each one of us will practice what we have learned, in whichever field or path we choose,” Monisha said.
“Whether we become advocates, entrepreneurs, corporate leaders, academicians, or public servants, the values we have gained here should guide our decisions and shape our contributions to society,” she added. “An LLB degree is not merely a qualification; it is a responsibility. Let us carry it with pride and purpose.”
The ceremony concluded on a high note, with students receiving their degrees surrounded by faculty, family, and peers, followed by a celebratory group photograph to commemorate the milestone.
