The state board is thinking of giving the Class 10 and Class 12 exams twice starting with the next academic year as it will be challenging to divide them into sessions in accordance with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020. For that reason, it is possible that the Class 10 and Class 12 board examinations for the upcoming school year would start 15 to 20 days sooner.
Chairman of the state board Sharad Gosavi spoke with the media on Tuesday following the announcement of the results for the Class 12 Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC). It is recommended that the class-wise examination of Classes 10 and 12 be carried out in the NEP 2020. In light of this, session-wise tests have been tested by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). The CBSE has been considering holding the test twice a year, nevertheless. The media has published information regarding this. The state board claims that the exams for classes 10 and 12 are given twice using the current format. Gosavi stated that candidates who received poor scores in the test results for the February–March session are given a chance.
