The NEET petitions will be heard by a three-judge panel today around 10:30 am, presided over by CJI DY Chandrachud. Chief Justice of India DY Chandrachud will preside over the bench, which also includes Justices JB Pardiwala and Manoj Misra. A number of candidates and coaching centers have appealed the NEET UG 2024 result.
In its appeal to the Supreme Court, the Union government stated that it would be hesitant to hold the NEET UG 2024 again and that doing so would “seriously jeopardize the lakhs of honest candidates” who took the test on May 5.
