Engineering colleges have been forewarned by Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy that their licenses may be revoked if they fail to rectify deficiencies in their establishments and bridge the skills gap between graduates’ skill sets and industry demands.

He said that the lack of essential resources, such as faculty members at engineering institutions, was the primary cause of the disparity. The Chief Minister issued a dire warning to the college administrations, threatening to take drastic measures if they did not immediately enhance their facilities.

He issued a warning, saying, “If the situation does not change in the coming days, we are prepared to cancel the permissions given to them.”
