Fearing Telegram might yet again be used for selling fake papers online, spread misinformation and create confusion, according to the orders from National Testing Agency (NTA) and the central government, Telegram faces a temporary ban ahead of NEET re-test, until June 22nd 2026.
Mainly due to the fact that Telegram lets users access messaging without revealing their mobile numbers, this app historically has come under the radar related to scams, and not Whatsapp, which weirdly is working on this, and according to Meta this feature will be rolled out soon.
