The Karnataka School Examination and Assessment Board announced the Karnataka 2nd PUC Result 2024 today, April 10, 2024. Candidates who took the KSEAB PUC 2 examination can view their results on the official Karnataka Results website at karresults.nic.in starting from 11 am onwards.
The announcement of the Karnataka PUC 2 results took place during a press conference conducted by Board officials at 10 am. Alongside the results, details such as the names of toppers in each stream, pass percentages, and other pertinent information were also disclosed during the conference.
This year, Vidyalakshmi secured the top position overall as well as in the Science stream, achieving a score of 598 marks in the Class 12 exam.
In the Arts stream, Medha D, Vedant Jnyanuba Navi, and Kavitha B V emerged as the toppers, each scoring 596 marks in the Karnataka PUC 2 examination.
Gnanavi M stood out as the sole topper in the Commerce stream, attaining a score of 597 marks.
A total of 6,98,378 candidates were eligible for the examination this year, out of which 6,81,079 students appeared. Among them, 5,52,690 students passed, resulting in an overall pass percentage of 81.15%.
Out of 359612 girls who appeared for the exam, 305212 passed, leading to an overall girls’ pass percentage of 84.87%. For boys, out of 321467 who appeared, 247478 passed, resulting in an overall boys’ pass percentage of 76.98%.
In the Arts stream, 187891 students appeared, with 128448 students passing, yielding an overall pass percentage of 68.36%. For Commerce, 215357 students appeared, with 174315 students passing, resulting in a pass percentage of 80.94%. In the Science stream, 277837 students appeared, with 249927 students passing, leading to an overall pass percentage of 89.96%.
