Educational leaders play a crucial role in the growth of both institutes and students, especially in the ever-changing educational landscape. Effective leaders recognize that education is a lifelong journey, making continuous professional development essential to acquiring the skills needed to uphold an institution’s high standards. This is exemplified by individuals like Mr. Ramanjaneya S. R. B., the Founder and Chairman of PNC Cognitio School, who uses his extensive experience to guide the school towards fostering an environment where the joy of learning is celebrated. Due to Mr. Ramanjaneya’s remarkable hard work and dedication, he has been selected to be featured among India’s 25 Most Inspiring Education Leaders of 2024.

From Fields to Classrooms

Born into a farming and agricultural family, Mr. Ramanjaneya’s early years were spent tending to the fields, caring for cows and sheep, and managing the family farm. Although education was important to him, it was not easily accessible due to financial constraints, and he attended government schools and colleges because private education was beyond his parents’ means.

His parents, like many of their generation, hoped he would secure a stable government job, which they believed would offer long-term security. However, he felt a different calling and was drawn towards entrepreneurship and the goal of supporting his family financially. At the young age of 19, he took on family responsibilities, demonstrating maturity and focus. While pursuing his degree, he also started a brick business, SRB Bricks, which provided essential income and stability for his family.

Traveling between his rural home and college, he experienced the hardships many young people in rural areas face due to limited transportation options. This struggle inspired him to think about creating educational opportunities closer to home, so others wouldn’t have to endure the same difficulties. The success of his brick business enabled him to turn this vision into reality, leading him to establish his first school, Mount Litera Zee School, in his locality. The school was quickly embraced by the community, validating his belief in the transformative power of education.

This success sparked a deeper commitment to improving education in his community. His vision expanded to creating a comprehensive educational hub, and today, he proudly runs three schools: Mount Litera Zee School, NPS, and PNC Cognitio School.

A Leap of Faith: Journey towards PNC Cognitio School

Mr. Ramanjaneya’s professional journey toward founding PNC Cognitio School was both challenging and rewarding. Having already constructed two schools, his initial plan for the third school was to build it and lease it to a third party for operation. However, this arrangement did not materialize as expected. At a critical point, his friends from the education sector provided strong support, encouraging him to take the leap and run the school himself.

His siblings also played a crucial role in supporting and motivating him to create something unique for their community. Driven by a desire to honor his parents, whose belief, trust, and confidence laid the foundation for his achievements, he chose to name the school after them. This gesture was his way of ensuring their legacy would continue, especially since the school was established on the very land his parents had nurtured.
