Established in the year 1982, RCM is the front-runner in terms of developing immensely in all the fields of management education. Moreover, being the first management college to be started in the state of Odisha, RCM has come a long way since then. It is the first autonomous management institute in Eastern India conferred by the University of Grants Commission and thereby, the college has been approved under section 2(f) and 12(b) of the UGC Act.

Building on this opportunity, the course content is changed every year at RCM, promoting up to date learning, and thus coining the term – ‘Techno-Management’. Under the Techno-Management tag, PGDM programs are run in the various cross-venture topics like Business Management, NLP, HR Design, Digital Marketing, and Blockchain finance. “RCM is also one of the very first higher education institutes to promote Tourism Management”, stated PROF. (DR.) PRABIR PAL, the chairman of the institute regarding the uniqueness RCM has to offer to the management aspirants. The chairman elaborated on this point saying – “Unique programs like the Tourism Management were always favored at RCM, giving us an edge over the other PG colleges in the country ”.
