Education today in K 12 or at the university level, and all over the world, particularly so in India, has been based on what the British Raj had left behind. That concept of education was created by the British raj to create slaves out of the Indians. If we try to teach, the way we had learnt yesterday, we will rob our children of their tomorrow!
Robbin Ghosh, the Founder-President and Chairman of the Board of Victorious Kidss Educares, inspired by Swami Vivekananda’s philosophy, follows the doctrines that education is not the amount of information that is put into your brain and runs riot there, undigested all your life.
Robbin Ghosh, a ‘Fighter Pilot’ and an ATPL from FAA, USA, founded Victorious Kidss Educares with a clear vision and mission to address the changing times, seamlessly integrating Vedantic wisdom with contemporary and yet international teaching methods. His guiding principle has always been, “If the student hasn’t learned, we haven’t taught.”
And thus, since its inception, Victorious Kidss Educares has been dedicated to eliminating confusion and providing clarity, aiming to unlock the immense potential within young minds and cultivate intellectual leaders, engaged learners, and global citizens.
Shaping Resilience and Excellence
Robbin Ghosh comes from a large, close-knit family that was well-known for its unity. His immediate family included his five siblings, father, mother, and extended relatives. His father was the son of the Diwan to the Maharaja of Solan, while his mother was the daughter of a Barrister from the Maharaja of Darbhanga in Bihar.
His father played a pivotal role in fostering resilience, always encouraging him to persevere. When he faced challenges, his mother’s playfully and yet with sincere reassurance that he was “God’s child”, reinforced a deep sense of resilience that has stayed with him throughout his life.
Throughout his school years, he focused more on enjoying himself, having playful fun, rather than pursuing academic or athletic achievements. Despite not receiving encouragement or guidance from teachers or principals, and not achieving titles such as state, national, or world championship, it was through reading Swami Vivekananda that he came to the profound understanding of the hidden ‘human excellence’ within every child, And awakening that awareness within every child, became passionately important in his heart; and that is what true education would sincerely mean; for the children of this present world?
Robbin Ghosh is heard to speak and quite often, “Tigers animals, even though ferocious these are, but driven by their instinct and nature and has a very limited life. Human excellence, on the other hand has enormous possibilities.
Human Beings to “Becoming” any goals humans aim for, believe in their visions and take pride to work at it. They would then certainly gain their imaginations and visionary goals. After all, Write Brothers, Issac Newton and many others, in the history of mankind, have attained their dreams; haven’t they?.
Journey towards Educational Innovation
Before transitioning into K12 education, Mr. Ghosh had a distinguished career in the Indian Air Force, where he commanded a MIG Squadron amidst the Indo-Pakistani and Chinese conflicts. Renowned for his courage and skill as a combat fighter pilot, he earned notable accolades, including serving as the Chief Production Test Pilot and a ‘Cat A’ Instructor with both the IAF and the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) in the USA. Ghosh also held a distinguished record as the Commander of a MIG Squadron and was selected for the indoctrinated Jaguars Deep Penetration Strike Aircraft.
After an extremely happy, and a passionately successful career, Shri Robbin Ghosh chose to seek retirement prematurely with the rank of a Wing Commander to shift his focus to ‘Creative Meaningful Education’ and to bring about an awareness of significance of Vedanta and blossoming of Human Existence’.’. He was determined to blend the advanced teaching methodologies of the Western world (IB) with the profound wisdom of Vedanta from Bharat (India). His commitment to discipline, adaptability, and excellence in his years of service provided a strong foundation for his educational initiatives, leading him to establish Victorious Kidss Educares since January 6, 1997. Today
