Activity-based Learning

Programs offered at the school are Kindergarten and Classes I – XII for all eligible students. For class es I-VIII, Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation (CCE) is followed and classes IX – XII curriculum is formulated in accordance with NCERT syllabus and CBSE guidelines.

Hence, to strengthen the bond with the parents, Open House Sessions are organized at regular intervals, which are presided by the school’s Principal. Here, parents are bestowed with multiple opportunities to interact with him directly from a public platform, and to also put forth their queries, suggestions, and complaints. Parent Teacher Meetings and calls to parents by counsellors to seek their suggestions are also conducted regularly.
Pandemic posed a tough challenge regarding the provision of enriching learning experiences to the students who were confined to their homes. Shri Sharad Bansal adds, “During such unpredictable times of fear and stress, we, at Tithonus International School, had extensively planned online academic and co-curricular activities so that students did not suffer any loss of academics and were also able to de-stress themselves”. In fact, Tithonus International School was the only school in and around Budaun region, which provided online education through a hired app called Hello Parent App. Unit Tests, Half Yearly & Annual Examinations, and various other co – curricular activities were successfully conducted through the app.
To keep the faculty abreast with innovative methods of teaching and changing needs of teaching-learning in classroom, workshops are duly organized in the premises. The teachers are also encouraged to participate in Offline/Online Orientation Programmes organized by CBSE, various government agencies, and leading publication houses.
