Bangalore College of Pharmacy can be defined in one sentence and it would be -: An Institute with a Cause. Under the Bangalore Education Trust, Bangalore Group of Institutions established its first educational endeavour in the year 2009 through the Bangalore Technological Institute which offers unparalleled engineering education to students. Since then, the Bangalore Group of Institutions has instituted two colleges dedicated to nursing–The Florida School and Florida College of Nursing ESTD 2013.

Bangalore Group of Institution aims at eradicating the evil of cancer through the establishment of Bangalore College of Pharmacy in 2017 and currently offers Diploma in Pharmacy (D. Pharm), Bachelors in Pharmacy (B. Pharm). Supporting this cause, the Government of India has provided 60 lakhs to the college to fund its research activities. Under the expert guidance of Dr.Sujitha and Dr Pramod, the labs have done astounding accomplishments. College is currently housing 12 labs exclusively for Pharmacy and five labs exclusively for Nursing, Bangalore Group of Institution have fostered fruitful tie-ups with Indian and International Pharmaceuticals.

Unparalleled Infrastructure and Amenities

Sitting in a plush Wi-Fi enabled 16-acre green campus, Bangalore College of Pharmacy Academic block exclusively and boy’s hostel with 650pax and a girl’s hostel with 430pax capacity. With sufficient titles from various publishers, the institute’s library has a voluminous collection of books, covering all subjects including reference work to meet the information needs of the students and faculty. The ambience and proximity to reach out in choosing books and software installed are of much help to the users of the library facility. In addition to providing prescribed textbooks, volumes on topics furnishing more details and information are accessible through reference books, eBooks, journals, periodicals, and magazines. The institute also has housed a bank exclusively for the students’ perusal.

The institute has built a BET app, wherein the teachers are supposed to update the app with that day’s classroom teachings. This way, the students do not miss out valuable points and can refer to the app as and when they want. An inbuilt library offers the students to cross-refer the teaching material with the material available online, thus enabling the students to widen their horizon. Since the students are unable to make edits to the material available in the app, error-free information is available to the students. The students, teachers, and management, all go through a monthly appraisal. This exercise keeps all the stakeholders in the loop and makes the activities of the institute transparent. A testament to the efficacious teaching-learning methodology incorporated at the Bangalore College of Pharmacy is the number of students that flock to the institute for admissions. Besides students from across the nation, the institute also houses students from the Middle East and the African continent.

A Blossoming Placement Track Record

Honing the students to be excellent human Beings, the institute offers cultural activities, indoor and outdoor courts for a variety of sports, NSS activities, and also proffers scholarships to deserving students. Understanding that all students aren’t alike, the institute sits all its first-year students through a mandatory one-month English enhancement class. Moreover, the management insists that all classes be taken in English. This helps the students to face much daunting interview sessions. Similarly, in house placement wing helps students to calm their qualms when the recruitment season is around the corner. It is the prudence from the institute’s part that corporates like Reddy’s Labs readily agrees to take the D.Pharm students under its wing. “We are proud to state that last year alone, we had 90% of successful placement, with the highest package being 23lakhs from IFCCO Tokyo. Similarly, around 480 of our students are enrolled by Honda alone. We also have giants like Columbia Asia, Infosys, Bosch, Sakra World Hospital, and Goldfinch hospital coming to the institute to recruit our students,” says Majesh Mohan, Chairman, Bangalore Group of Institution. Along the same lines, Bangalore College of Pharmacy also fosters fruitful relationships with foreign universities like Emilio Aguinaldo College, Philippines. The institute is also the recipient of Mahatma Gandhi Foundation (Kerala) award for the “Best Care Of Students”.

Majesh Mohan, he is an industrialist and an educationalist. As per his vision, he started Bangalore Group of Institution in 2010 and currently holding positions on other Institutions managing trustee as well of Bangalore Educational Trust, Bangalore. The Trust is engaged with Engineering, Nursing and Pharmacy Colleges. He also holds the position in Bangalore Group of Institution as a Chairman. He is also the Director of Bangalore international Trading and Consultancy FZE, Bangalore International Management FZE, Ras Al Khaimah, UAE., Managing Director of Emilio Institute of Medical Sciences, Managing Partner of Eduvy Technologies LLP, Trustee of Global Educational and Charitable Society. He is also engaged in rural development and Charitable Educational promotions and the Managing Director of Jetta Educare and Hr Consultancy Pvt Ltd He manages abroad job-seekers training as well.
