Firstly when we asked him about the various strategies followed at the university which helps distinguish itself from others, Dr. Sunil shared – “In order to facilitate easy learning curves among tomorrow’s legal experts, we employ a diverse range of topics in our curricular, co-curricular, and extra-curricular activities for students such as data privacy, intellectual property rights, and Forensic analysis”. He continued – “We provide our students with opportunities to participate in national and international academic as well as cultural events. We have our own national event “Atharva” that includes cultural, literary, and skill development activities”.

Moreover, understanding that today’s education has to be in complete sync with the constant advancements in technology, the institution includes niche subjects and activities like cyber security, data privacy, and IPR. Furthermore, The Faculty of Law offers access to major national and international journals and databases through their state-of-the-art library, which students can readily utilize for research purposes. In addition, Oriental University has established a number of smart classes and well-equipped media labs where students can research current technological and legal trends. “All of these resources and initiatives are aimed at ensuring that our students receive a comprehensive legal education and stay ahead of the curve in the ever-evolving legal landscape”, exclaimed the Vice Chancellor.

mental Organizations (NGOs), organizations, National Law Universities (NLUs), and other relevant institutions”, shares the Vice Chancellor. He added, saying – “These partnerships enable our students to participate in various academic activities such as internships, expert talks, seminars, faculty exchange programs, and other events that provide them with real-world exposure and prepare them for the legal profession”.

Through these above initiatives, The Faculty of Law aims to bridge the gap between academia and the industry, providing their students with the practical skills and knowledge required to succeed in the legal profession.
